Huiyao Laser’s automated dispensing systems are designed to improve TIM (Thermal Interface Material) coverage by utilizing 3D vision path compensation and −95kPa vacuum degassing. Optimizing Heat Dissipation Through Precision

In high-energy-density ESS packs, the efficiency of the cooling system is only as good as the interface between the cell and the cooling plate. Huiyao Laser’s automated dispensing systems are designed to improve TIM (Thermal Interface Material) coverage by utilizing 3D vision path compensation and −95kPa vacuum degassing. The Challenge of Void-Free Dispensing

Air bubbles trapped in the TIM can lead to localized hotspots that accelerate cell aging. Huiyao Laser addresses this by integrating a vacuum degassing stage into the material feed system. Furthermore, recognizing that battery casings are not perfectly flat, our system performs a 3D scan of the module surface before application. The robotic arm then dynamically adjusts its path (Z-axis compensation) to target a constant bond line thickness. This precision is intended to maximize thermal contact while reducing material waste by up to 10%.
